Hey guys! I recently had some car troubles right before I was supposed to head back home for spring break. Long story short I had a lot of free time on my hands and I ended up funneling that into some productions. This one kind of took off unexpectedly so I decided to finish it and release it and guage your guys' reactions to it.

It's just a neat little uplifting chillhop track in which I sampled the guitar and vocals and wrote the rest around it. Personally I'm pleased with the results and am glad I didn't turn this into a seven minute song.

As always I love feedback. And if you don't want to buy it for a buck I completely understand, but if you want to share it with friends or like it or anything, I would appreciate any patronage you can offer.

Anyways! Without further ado:

Thank you guys! I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I like using these samples because it forces me to work within it's confines, and that's where innovation happens.

A bit more punchy than most chill hop. I like it, 10/10 doesn't sound like something I'd find on a three hour youtube chill hop playlist.

Not to my tastes, but it's definitely good and sounds well put together!

I enjoyed it pretty thoroughly; it kind of reminds of the verses in this jam-and-a-half.

My only real criticism is that the bassline occasionally wanders into very "interesting" territory; the pluck at 2:50 was a standout. I'm not sure if the slight grinding here and there was intentional, but if I were in the driver's seat, I would have switched up the voicing to avoid it.

Keep it wavy, keep it loopy, my man. Wavy, baby.

Unfortunately I think that's a product of omnisphere. It's a "baritone guitar sample" that just happens to sound bass-like. In an ideal world I would've DI'd and then played it myself, cause I can do that. But my preamp is super noisy and my pickups in my bass need changing (so do the strings) so I made do. It's really only a problem in that low low range. But I wanted to keep it a little fresh so I felt like it was a necessary evil for it to go that low. Still nice for a sample tho.

Glad you liked it though! I love the mix on this so much more than anything else I've done to date.
