So recently I have been working on a GUI for my client. This is what I have done over the course of around a week or so. Mostly just testing and fixing, but anyway, here is a few screenshots of the GUI.
Any feedback / constructive criticism would be appreciated!

Images don't work, I know! (Think it's because I don't have 50 posts yet?)

The Main GUI:

The GUI Radar:

Console:

Main Menu:

Username Changer:

So any feedback would be appreciated. If you do not like something, feel free to say what!

Simple, but effective. Me gusta mucho!

Thanks! I do like the simple look of clients, not a cluttered menu which you can hardly use!

I just noticed his name in the credits. He's kind of a big dick. But otherwise it looks pretty good actually.

Well, I like to give credits to other people's code, even if they are a dick. I'm sure you agree? I can take if out if needs be.

Thanks for the feedback anyway!

Radar is toggle-able so if you don't like it you don't have to activate it!
Thanks for the feedback!

I don't understand why people think radars are useful. I think Tracer lines pretty much cover that. Well, for me at least.

I like that it's simple, though.

Very nice client. I like your approach to the GUI. It's different, but not so foreign that it's hard to use.

Also, kudos for including Barclay's name in the credits. He's a dick and you're probably going to get some flack from a few people for using any code he made, but you gave him credit anyways.

As I said before, you don't have to have it on. But the pro with radar's is I find it easier to get a sense of distant compared to tracers.
Thanks anyway!

Tracer lines don't work when you're not looking at somebody in my opinion. They can also become pretty jumbled and intrusive if there's a lot of people around.

Thanks! I tried to make the GUI and simple and user friendly as possible. My next step is to make every box clickable just for the people who like to click things!

Clickables are nice for those passive hacks that you only turn on once, such as no fall.

What I think you should add is a panic button. It just turns off everything, quick and simple.

Also, how much experience do you have in Java? I'm planning on writing my own client but I don't want to start before I'm ready. Is there a certain time or amount of understanding you should have before you start? I've looked at some of the guides here and I get how I would go about making hacks, I just feel that I'm not comfortable enough with Java to embark on making my client at the moment.

And last, but not least, how are you going about making this version independent? I've heard of some cool little module loader, but those sound way beyond my reach. Is there any way I could make a pretty much version independent client?

Yes, maybe the whole thing clickable is a bit much. So far the only things clickable is the whole of the X-Ray page.

As for making a client, you will want to learn the basics and then slowly develop your Java skills over a few months. When you feel ready, delve into Minecraft by making very simple mods, just as a test of what you can do. Never jump straight in, or before you are ready! It's always good to read a bit of Minecraft to help you see how things should be implemented and learn new things. That's pretty much what I did!

As for the loader, I do not know enough Java yet to go about making hooks and such. If you were to try and make your client as independent as possible, I would go around making new packages for your client, then calling methods and such inside the original code! It's easier to update and much cleaner code!
